Sunday Seven

  1. Stamp price to rise Monday.  I was furious about this until I remembered I never mail anything.
  2. Hand-shaking is so medieval.  Let’s end it.  I have been pushing this for years.  Why not the fist bump or the Vulcan V greeting?
  3. Discern technology spirits.  Methodist pastor Shane Hipps has a few insightful things to say on the speed of our information in this Christianity Today interview.
  4. Why Republicans have to rely on conservative Christians and why that makes it impossible for them to win.  Or so says James Carville.
  5. Elizabeth the Enabler.  Mickey Kaus says in Slate that Elizabeth Edwards’ publicity tour is an attempt to rehab her husband and pull one over on the people.
  6. Star Trek theories of time travel.  Giving in to my inner nerdom on this opening weekend for the new movie.
  7. MomSourcing.  Too busy to make that Mother’s Day call?  Outsource it to India!  (This is a joke site that supposedly really works.  Listen to the sample message!) Via BoingBoing.
